First Marblehead Announces First Quarter Financial Results
November 9, 2015 4:05 PM ESTMEDFORD, MA -- (Marketwired) -- 11/09/15 -- The First Marblehead Corporation (NYSE: FMD) today announced its financial and operating results for the first quarter of fiscal 2016.
For the first quarter of fiscal 2016, the Company recorded a net loss from continuing operations of $6.1 million, or $(0.53) per share, compared to a net loss from continuing operations of $10.5 million, or $(0.92) per share, for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, a 42% improvement.
