Great Plains Energy Reports Third Quarter 2015 Results
November 5, 2015 5:07 PM ESTKANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Great Plains Energy (NYSE: GXP) today announced third quarter 2015 earnings of $126.4 million or $0.82 per share of average common stock outstanding, compared with third quarter 2014 earnings of $147.0 million or $0.95 per share. For the first nine months of 2015, earnings were $188.9 million or $1.22 per share, compared to $222.1 million or $1.44 per share in the first nine months of 2014.
The Company also announced the narrowing of its 2015 earnings guidance range of $1.35 to $1.60 per share to $1.35 to $1.45 per share as a result of mild weather, soft wholesale market conditions due to... More
