Nektar Therapeutics Reports Financial Results for the Third Quarter of 2015
November 5, 2015 4:15 PM ESTSAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nektar Therapeutics (Nasdaq: NKTR) today reported its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2015.
Cash and investments in marketable securities at September 30, 2015 were $267.8 million as compared to $279.7 million at June 30, 2015. Cash and investments at September 30, 2015 include a $40.0 million milestone payment received from AstraZeneca in Q3 2015 for the first commercial sale of MOVENTIG® (naloxegol) in Germany. Cash and investments at September 30, 2015 do not include the proceeds from the $250 million direct private placement of 7.75% Senior Secured Notes due in 2020, which was closed on October 5, 2015. A...
