(NYSE: EVR) announced today the commencement of a public offering of 5,454,545 shares of Class A common stock, all of which are being sold by Mizuho Bank Ltd. 3,100,000 shares are being offered to public investors. In addition, Evercore intends to repurchase 2,354,545 shares at a price per share equal to the price at which the underwriters will purchase such shares from the selling stockholder.
