Mercer International Inc. Reports Strong 2015 Third Quarter Results Announces Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.115
October 29, 2015 4:30 PM EDTNEW YORK, Oct. 29, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mercer International Inc. (Nasdaq: MERC) (TSX:MRI.U) today reported results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2015. Operating EBITDA* in the third quarter of 2015 was $61.1 million, compared to $67.6 million in the comparative quarter of 2014 and $50.0 million in the prior quarter of 2015.
For the third quarter of 2015, net income was $23.8 million, or $0.37 per basic and diluted share, compared to $88.3 million, or $1.38 per basic and $1.37 per diluted share, in the comparative quarter of 2014 and $16.4 million, or $0.25 per basic and diluted share, in the prior quarter.
