Standard Motor Products (SMP) Reports In-Line Q3 EPS; CEO Sills to Retire
October 29, 2015 9:33 AM EDTStandard Motor Products (NYSE: SMP) reported Q3 EPS of $0.80, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $270 million versus the consensus estimate of $269.3 million.
The company announced stated today that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lawrence I. Sills has announced his plans to retire as CEO of the Company and will become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors effective March 31, 2016. Eric Sills, President, will succeed him as Chief Executive Officer and will be appointed to the Board of Directors.
