Shire plc (SHPG) Tops Q3 EPS by 35c

Shire plc (NASDAQ: SHPG) reported Q3 EPS of $3.24, $0.35 better than the analyst estimate of $2.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.58 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.63 billion.

Flemming Ornskov, M.D. Chief Executive Officer, commented:

In the third quarter, Shire maintained momentum while advancing the pipeline and investing for the future.
