Fulton Financial Reports Third Quarter Earnings of $0.20 per Share and Announces Approval for $50 Million Share Repurchase Program
October 20, 2015 4:30 PM EDTLANCASTER, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/20/15 -- Fulton Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: FULT)
Diluted earnings per share for the third quarter of 2015 was 20 cents, compared to 21 cents in both the second quarter of 2015 and the third quarter of 2014. In July 2015, the Corporation redeemed $150.0 million of trust preferred securities. In connection with this redemption, a loss of $5.6 million was recognized as a component of non-interest expense.
