Washington Trust Reports Third Quarter 2015 Earnings
October 19, 2015 4:05 PM EDTWESTERLY, R.I., Oct. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: WASH), parent company of The Washington Trust Company, today announced net income of $10.2 million, or 60 cents per diluted share, for the third quarter of 2015, compared to net income of $11.5 million, or 68 cents per diluted share, reported for the second quarter of 2015. The decrease in earnings was largely reflective of conditions affecting revenues in several business lines, including mortgage banking, commercial banking and wealth management.
