Monsanto (MON) Misses Q4 EPS by 17c; Guides FY15 EPS Below Views
October 7, 2015 8:03 AM EDTMonsanto (NYSE: MON) reported Q4 EPS of ($0.19), $0.17 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.36 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.79 billion.
Monsanto sees FY2016 EPS of $5.10-$5.60, versus the consensus of $5.75.
The company projects free cash flow in the range of $1.6 billion to $1.8 billion for fiscal year 2016. The company expects net cash provided by operating activities to be $2.7 billion to $3.1 billion, and net cash required by investing activities to be approximately $1.1 billion to $1.3 billion.
