Kentucky First Federal Bancorp Releases Earnings
September 9, 2015 4:00 PM EDTHAZARD, FRANKFORT, DANVILLE and LANCASTER, Ky., Sept. 09, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kentucky First Federal Bancorp (Nasdaq: KFFB), (the Company) the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Hazard and First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort, Kentucky, announced net income of $2.1 million or $0.25 diluted earnings per share for the year ended June 30, 2015, which represents a $135,000 or 7.0% increase from the year ended June 30, 2014. The increase in earnings year over year was due primarily to decreases in non-interest expense and provision for losses on loans, as well as an increase in non-interest income. Non-interest expense decreased $368,000...
