Target (TGT) Tops Q2 EPS by 11c; Boosts FY15 Outlook
August 19, 2015 8:00 AM EDTTarget (NYSE: TGT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.22, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $1.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $17.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $17.4 billion.
Second quarter comparable sales growth of 2.4 percent was in line with the companys expectations, driven primarily by growth in comparable transactions.
