Roth Capital Trims PT on JA Solar (JASO) to $8 Following Weak Q3 Guide
August 12, 2015 8:52 AM EDTRoth Capital affirmed JA Solar (Nasdaq: JASO) with a Neutral rating and trimmed its price target from $9 to $8 following the company's Q2 results and outlook issued Tuesday night.
Analyst Philip Shen noted that Q2 results were driven by strong shipment volumes coupled with improved margins. However, weak Q3 outlook and lowered FY15 downstream shipment expectations tempered enthusiasm.

JA Solar Holdings (JASO) Tops Q2 EPS by 15c
August 11, 2015 7:08 AM EDTJA Solar Holdings (NASDAQ: JASO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.27, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $436.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $398.65 million.
Total shipments were 790.8 megawatts ("MW"), an increase of 16.0% y/y and 16.0% sequentially
