Chesapeake Utilities Corporation Reports Higher Earnings For The Second Quarter
August 6, 2015 6:30 AM EDTDOVER, Del., Aug. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) today reported second quarter financial results. The Company's net income for the three months ended June 30, 2015 was $6.3 million, or $0.41 per share. This represents an increase of $1.2 million, or $0.06 per share, over the same quarter in 2014. Included in the Company's results for the current quarter was a non-recurring $1.5 million pre-tax gain ($900,000 after-tax gain, or $0.06 per share), related to cash received from a settlement with a vendor in connection with a customer billing system implementation.
