Southwest Gas Corporation reports Second Quarter 2015 Earnings
August 5, 2015 5:00 PM EDTLAS VEGAS, Aug. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Southwest Gas Corporation (NYSE: SWX) reported consolidated earnings of $0.11 per basic share for the second quarter of 2015, a $0.10 decrease from the $0.21 per basic share earned during the second quarter of 2014. Consolidated net income was $4.9 million for the second quarter of 2015, compared to $9.6 million for the prior-year quarter.  The natural gas segment experienced a net loss of $657,000 in the current quarter compared to net income of $1.8 million in the prior period, while the construction services segment had net income of $5.6 million in the current quarter compared to net...
