Masonite International Corporation Reports 2015 Second Quarter and First Half Results
August 5, 2015 4:01 PM EDTTAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Masonite International Corporation ("Masonite" or "the Company") (NYSE: DOOR) today announced results for the three and six months ended June 28, 2015.
Executive Summary
Net sales decreased $13.8 million, or 2.8% to $476.4 million for the second quarter of 2015 compared with the second quarter of 2014. Excluding a $25.7 million (or 5.2%) unfavorable impact from foreign exchange, net sales would have increased by 2.4% to $502.1 million for the second quarter. Net income attributable to Masonite increased $7.8 million to $13.4 million, or $0.42 per diluted share in the second quarter of 2015 versus the comparable 2014 period.... More
