Maxwell Technologies Reports Second Quarter Financial Results
July 30, 2015 4:01 PM EDTSAN DIEGO, July 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Maxwell Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: MXWL) today reported revenue of $37.8 million for its second quarter ended June 30, 2015, an increase of 9 percent from the $34.7 million recorded in the first quarter of 2015, but down 18 percent from the $46.1 million recorded in the second quarter of 2014.
Second quarter ultracapacitor revenue increased by 7 percent to $23.4 million, compared with $21.9 million recorded in the first quarter of 2015, but was down 31 percent compared with the $33.9 million recorded in the second quarter of 2014.
