The Hanover Reports Record Second Quarter Net Income of $2.68 per Diluted Share; Operating Income(1) of $1.56 per Diluted Share; Combined Ratio of 95.7%, including Catastrophe Impact of 3.9 points
July 29, 2015 4:05 PM EDTWORCESTER, Mass., July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. (NYSE: THG) today reported net income of $120.7 million, or $2.68 per diluted share, for the second quarter of 2015, compared to net income of $82.6 million, or $1.84 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter. Operating income was $70.4 million, or $1.56 per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2015, compared to $58.4 million, or $1.30 per diluted share, in the prior-year quarter.Â
