Westfield Financial, Inc. Reports Results for the Quarter Ended June 30, 2015 and Declares Quarterly Dividend

WESTFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Westfield Financial, Inc. (the Company) (NasdaqGS: WFD), the holding company for Westfield Bank (the Bank), reported net income of $1.4 million, or $0.08 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2015, compared to $1.3 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2014. For the six months ended June 30, 2015, net income was $2.7 million, or $0.15 per diluted share, compared to $3.0 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, for the same period in 2014.
