Depomed (NASDAQ: DEPO) announced that its Board of Directors, after careful consideration and with the assistance of its independent financial and legal advisors, has unanimously rejected the purported revised, highly conditional, unsolicited and non-binding proposal from Horizon Pharma plc (NASDAQ: HZNP) ("Horizon") to acquire all of the outstanding shares of Depomed in an all-stock transaction (the "July 21 Proposal").
