Flushing Financial Corporation Reports Record Second Quarter 2015 Net Income of $0.51 Per Diluted Common Share, a 70% Increase From the Trailing Quarter, and a Record Loan Pipeline

GAAP diluted earnings per common share were a record $0.51, an increase of $0.21, or 70.0%, from the trailing quarter. GAAP return on average assets and GAAP return on average equity increased to 1.1% and 12.7%, respectively, from 1.0% and 10.3%, respectively, for the three months ended June 30, 2014. Core diluted earnings per common share, a non-GAAP measure, were $0.36, an increase of $0.05, or 16.1%, from the trailing quarter. Core return on average assets and core return on average equity, both non-GAAP measures, decreased to 0.8% and 9.1%, respectively, from 1.0% and 10.5%, respectively, for the three months ended June 30, 2014.
