Citrix Systems (NASDAQ: CTXS) reported Q2 EPS of $1.00, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.82. Revenue for the quarter came in at $797 million versus the consensus estimate of $790.37 million.

Citrix Systems (CTXS), Elliott Management Enter Cooperation Agreement

Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS) today announced that it has entered into a cooperation agreement with Elliott Management Corporation (Elliott), an investment firm whose affiliated funds own approximately 7.5 percent of the companys common stock.

As part of the agreement, Elliotts Jesse Cohn has been appointed to the Citrix board of directors to replace Asiff Hirji who has decided to step down from the company's board, effective immediately.
