AvalonBay Communities, Inc. Announces Second Quarter 2015 Operating Results and Updates Full Year 2015 Financial Outlook
July 27, 2015 4:02 PM EDTARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AvalonBay Communities, Inc. (NYSE: AVB) (the Company) reported today Net Income Attributable to Common Stockholders for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 of $172,324,000. This resulted in Earnings per Share diluted (EPS) of $1.29 for the three months ended June 30, 2015, compared to $1.21 per share for the comparable period of 2014, an increase of 6.6%. For the six months ended June 30, 2015, EPS was $2.86 compared to EPS of $2.31 for the comparable period of 2014, an increase of 23.8%.
