July 29, 2015 9:06 AM EDTCompass Point reiterated a Buy rating on Flagstar Bancorp (NYSE: FBC), and raised the price target to $23.00 (from $22.00), following 2Q15 results. FBC reported 2Q15E EPS of $0.68 compared to the $0.37 consensus estimate. Analyst Kevin Barker said that the earnings beat was driven by strong mortgage banking results and a large reserve release due to the sale of distressed assets.
