Visa (NYSE: V) reported Q3 EPS of $0.74, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.52 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.36 billion.

(Reuters) - The Nasdaq composite and the S&P 500 were higher on Thursday after two days of losses, while the Dow Jones industrial average was at a week-low on disappointing results from bellwethers such as 3M (NYSE: MMM) and Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT).

The two stocks, together with American Express (NYSE: AXP), contributed 55 points to the Dow's fall.

Visa (V) Declares $0.12 Quarterly Dividend; 0.7% Yield

Visa (NYSE: V) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.12 per share, or $0.48 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on September 1, 2015, to stockholders of record on August 14, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of August 12, 2015.

The annual yield on the dividend is 0.7 percent.
