July 23, 2015 3:30 PM EDTMCLEAN, Va., July 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Southern National Bancorp of Virginia Inc. (NASDAQ: SONA), the holding company for Sonabank, announced today that net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 was $2.5 million and $4.5 million for the first half of 2015. That compares to $1.8 million and $3.4 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2014.
