UPDATE: Stifel Upgrades GATX Corp. (GMT) to Buy

Stifel upgraded GATX Corp. (NYSE: GMT) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $62. Analyst Michael J. Baudendistel noted the companys railcar assets are more diversified than many realize, and he thinks its business model will hold up better than its peer group.

GATX Corp. (GMT) Misses Q2 EPS by 19c
July 23, 2015 8:31 AM EDTGATX Corp. (NYSE: GMT) reported Q2 EPS of $1.03, $0.19 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.22. Revenue for the quarter came in at $365.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $385.34 million.
GATX Corp. reaffirmed FY2015 guidance.
