Union Bankshares Reports Second Quarter Results
July 21, 2015 7:30 AM EDTRICHMOND, Va., July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Union Bankshares Corporation (the "Company" or "Union") (NASDAQ: UBSH) today reported net income of $15.3 million and earnings per share of $0.34 for its second quarter ended June 30, 2015. The quarterly results include $832,000, or $0.02 per share, in after-tax nonrecurring costs associated with branch closures and represent a decrease of $353,000, or 2.2%, in net income and a decrease of $0.01, or 2.9%, in earnings per share from the first quarter. For the six months ended June 30, 2015, net income was $31.0 million with earnings per share at...
