Dover Reports Second Quarter 2015 Results
July 21, 2015 7:00 AM EDTDOWNERS GROVE, Ill., July 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Dover (NYSE: DOV) announced today that for the second quarter ended June 30, 2015, revenue was $1.8 billion, a decrease of 10% from the prior year. The decrease in revenue was driven by an organic revenue decline of 10% and a 4% unfavorable impact from foreign exchange, partially offset by 4% growth from acquisitions. Earnings from continuing operations were $155.6 million, a decrease of 26% as compared to $210.6 million for the prior year period.
