ChipMOS (IMOS) Forms Special Committee to Evaluate Merger with Majority-Owned Subsidiary

ChipMOS (NASDAQ: IMOS) announced that its Board of Directors has formed a Special Committee to review and evaluate the feasibility of a merger of the Company into ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. ("ChipMOS Taiwan"), the Company's 58% owned subsidiary, which is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange under Stock Ticker 8150, and to negotiate the contemplated action with ChipMOS Taiwan.

ChipMOS (IMOS) Declares $0.14 Quarterly Dividend; 2.8% Yield

ChipMOS (NASDAQ: IMOS) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share, or $0.56 annualized.

The dividend will be payable on October 30, 2015, to stockholders of record on October 16, 2015, with an ex-dividend date of October 14, 2015.
