Compass Point Cuts Price on Navient (NAVI) Following a Weak Pre-Announcement
July 14, 2015 7:03 AM EDTCompass Point reiterates a Neutral rating on Navient Corporation (NASDAQ: NAVI), and cuts the price target to $16.50 (from $22.00), after the company pre-announced weak 2Q15 earnings. Navient (NAVI) Guides Q2 EPS Below Expectations, Cuts FY15 EPS Outlook
July 13, 2015 4:16 PM EDTNavient (NASDAQ: NAVI) announced that it expects second-quarter 2015 core earnings of approximately $0.40 diluted earnings per share, or GAAP earnings of approximately $0.47 diluted earnings per share. In addition, the company revised its guidance for full-year 2015 core earnings to approximately $1.85 diluted earnings per share.
