Arrowhead Research (ARWR) Doses First Patient in ARC-AAT Phase 1 Part B
July 2, 2015 7:34 AM EDTArrowhead Research (Nasdaq: ARWR) announced that it dosed the first patient in Part B of a Phase 1 clinical trial of ARC-AAT. ARC-AAT is Arrowheads RNAi-based drug candidate for the treatment of liver disease associated with the rare genetic disorder alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) that was recently granted orphan drug designation by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
