Summit Research Positive on Micron (MU); Sees 2nd-Half DRAM Shortages and Sees Investment from Google or Others
June 12, 2015 9:44 AM EDTSummit Research analyst Srini Sundararajan reiterated a Buy rating and $50 price target on Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) citing likely DRAM shortages in the 2nd-half of 2015 and the view that at least on hyperscale client will likely invest in MU stock (GOOG, AMZN, AAPL).

European Commission Opens Formal Investigation into Amazon's (AMZN) e-Books Business
June 11, 2015 7:46 AM EDTThe European Commission has opened a formal antitrust investigation into certain business practices by Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) in the distribution of electronic books ("e-books"). The Commission will in particular investigate certain clauses included in Amazon's contracts with publishers. These clauses require publishers to inform Amazon about more favourable or alternative terms offered to Amazons competitors and/or offer Amazon similarterms and conditions than to its competitors, or through other means ensure that Amazon is offered terms at least as good as those for its competitors.
