McDonald's (MCD) May Comps Outperform Amid Strong Europe Results - RBC Capital
June 8, 2015 11:43 AM EDTRBC Capital comments on McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) following the fast-food giant's May 2015 sales results issued earlier Monday.
McDonald's reported a 0.3 percent in global comparable-store sales last month, while RBC was looking for a decline of 1.2 percent.
Analyst David Palmer noted, US SSS declined -2.2 percent (RBCe -1 percent, cons -1.7 percent), Europe SSS growth was 2.3 percent (RBCe 0.5 percent, cons. 0.6 percent), and APMEA declined -3.2 percent (RBCe -6 percent, cons -3.8 percent). Sales in APMEA continue to be hurt by... More
