Woodward to Return $250 Million to Shareholders
May 20, 2015 4:10 PM EDTFORT COLLINS, Colo., May 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Woodward, Inc. (Nasdaq: WWD) today announced its plan to repurchase $250 million of outstanding shares over the next 12 months, under a recently approved Board authorization. The share repurchases reflect the return of capital associated with Woodward's aerospace joint venture with GE Aviation which was announced today in a separate press release. The net impact on Woodward earnings per share of the joint venture and share repurchases is expected to be accretive.

GE Aviation and Woodward Combine Fuel Systems Expertise for New Joint Venture
May 20, 2015 4:05 PM EDTFORT COLLINS, Colo., May 20, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GE Aviation and Woodward, Inc. (Nasdaq: WWD) today announced a strategic 50/50 joint venture for fuel systems for GE's large commercial aircraft engine lines. The new joint venture will design, develop, source, supply and service the fuel system, including components from the fuel inlet up to the fuel nozzle, for the GE90, GEnx, GE9X and all future large commercial engines developed by GE Aviation. Woodward will be the preferred supplier to the joint venture.
