The Home Depot Announces First Quarter Results; Raises Fiscal Year 2015 Guidance
May 19, 2015 6:00 AM EDTATLANTA, May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Home Depot®, the world's largest home improvement retailer, today reported sales of $20.9 billion for the first quarter of fiscal 2015, a 6.1 percent increase from the first quarter of fiscal 2014. Comparable store sales for the first quarter of fiscal 2015 were positive 6.1 percent, and comp sales for U.S. stores were positive 7.1 percent.
Net earnings for the first quarter of fiscal 2015 were $1.6 billion, or $1.21 per diluted share, compared with net earnings of $1.4 billion, or $1.00 per diluted share, in the same period of fiscal... More
