May 11, 2015 8:00 AM EDTCHARLOTTE, N.C., May 11, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Capitala Finance Corp. (Nasdaq: CPTA) ("Capitala" or the "Company") today announced its financial results for first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
First Quarter Highlights
Originated $67.2 million of gross investments during the quarter. Of this amount, $57.2 million was debt, of which 61% was senior secured. The weighted average yield on newly originated first quarter debt investments was 13.3%.
