Matson (MATX) Tops Q1 EPS by 2c, Provides Outlook
May 4, 2015 4:26 PM EDTMatson (NYSE: MATX) reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $398.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $427.7 million.
2015 Outlook
The Company expects to close the pending transaction with Horizon Lines, Inc. by the end of the second quarter. However, the closing remains dependent upon a number of conditions, including the closing of Pasha's acquisition of Horizon's Hawaii business.
