GrafTech (GTI) Misses Q1 EPS by 5c
April 30, 2015 10:13 AM EDTGrafTech (NYSE: GTI) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.10), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter came in at $207 million versus the consensus estimate of $239.6 million.

April 30, 2015 9:06 AM EDTAfter the close, GrafTech (NYSE: GTI) announced its Board of Directors has unanimously approved entering into a letter of intent regarding the potential sale of $150 million of 7% convertible preferred shares in a private offering to an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. (NYSE: BAM), a global alternative asset manager with more than $200 billion in assets under management. GrafTech announced that the Board also unanimously approved entering into a separate letter of intent for a possible tender offer by Brookfield to acquire outstanding shares of GrafTech common stock.
