INDEPENDENCE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GrafTech International Ltd. (NYSE: GTI) today announced that Quinn Coburn, GrafTechs Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, will assume the additional role of Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective May 15, 2015. Mr. Coburns appointment follows Erick R. Asmussens decision to accept a Chief Financial Officer role at another company.

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- GrafTech International Ltd. (NYSE: GTI) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
2015 First Quarter Review
Net sales were $207 million, a decrease of 26 percent, compared to $281 million in the same period of the prior year. Lower shipment volumes and pricing in both business segments primarily drove the reduction in sales.
