Standard Motor Products, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2015 Results and a Quarterly Dividend
April 30, 2015 8:30 AM EDTNEW YORK, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard Motor Products, Inc. (NYSE: SMP), an automotive replacement parts manufacturer and distributor, reported today its consolidated financial results for the three months ending March 31, 2015.
Consolidated net sales for the first quarter of 2015 were $227.6 million, compared to consolidated net sales of $232.8 million during the comparable quarter in 2014. Earnings from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2015 were $9.3 million or 40 cents per diluted share, compared to $12.4 million or 53 cents per diluted share in the first quarter of 2014.
