Celadon Group Reports March Quarter Results And Declares Dividend
April 28, 2015 4:11 PM EDTINDIANAPOLIS, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â Celadon Group, Inc. (NYSE: CGI) today reported its financial and operating results for the three months and nine months ended March 31, 2015, the third fiscal quarter of the Company's fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.
Revenue for the quarter increased $38.5 million, or 19.9%, to $231.7 million in the March 2015 quarter from $193.2 million in the March 2014 quarter. Freight revenue, which excludes fuel surcharges, increased $46.1 million, or 29.6%, to $201.7 million in the March 2015 quarter from $155.6 million in the March 2014 quarter. Net income increased $5.1 million, or 146.7%, to $8.6 million in the 2015 quarter from $3.5 million for the same quarter...
