Innophos Holdings (IPHS) Misses Q1 EPS by 10c
April 27, 2015 4:13 PM EDTInnophos Holdings (NASDAQ: IPHS) reported Q1 EPS of $0.55, $0.10 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $202 million versus the consensus estimate of $218.1 million.
Recent Trends and Outlook
Specialty Phosphates volumes were down 1% for the first quarter 2015 compared to the prior year period. Soft end market demand, competitive pricing pressures and the strong US dollar effects seen in the fourth quarter 2014 continued through the first quarter 2015.
