Summit Financial Group Reports First Quarter 2015 Results
April 27, 2015 6:00 AM EDTMOOREFIELD, W. Va., April 27, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Summit Financial Group, Inc. ("Company" or "Summit") (Nasdaq: SMMF) today reported first quarter 2015 net income applicable to common shares of $4.29 million, or $0.41 per diluted share, compared to $2.20 million, or $0.25 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2014, representing an increase of 95.1 percent, or 64.0 percent per diluted share. Q1 2015 earnings compared to Q1 2014 were positively impacted by a $1.48 million increase in net interest income and a $750,000 decline in provision for loan losses.
