FLIR Systems Announces First Quarter 2015 Financial Results
April 24, 2015 7:30 AM EDTWILSONVILLE, OR -- (Marketwired) -- 04/24/15 -- FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. Revenue was $344.5 million, down 2% compared to first quarter 2014 revenue of $351.5 million. Foreign currency exchange fluctuations negatively impacted revenue growth by approximately 5 percentage points year over year. Operating income in the first quarter was $65.8 million, compared to $42.5 million in the first quarter of 2014. Operating income was impacted by pretax charges related to previously-announced restructuring initiatives of $0.3 million in the first quarter of 2015 and $8.4 million in the first quarter of 2014.
