April 23, 2015 8:07 AM EDTFARMINGTON, Conn., April 23, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Connecticut Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") (Nasdaq: FBNK), the holding company for Farmington Bank (the "Bank"), reported net income of $2.5 million, or $0.17 diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 compared to net income of $1.5 million, or $0.10 diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31, 2014.
