Brookline Bancorp Announces First Quarter Results
April 22, 2015 5:08 PM EDTBOSTON, April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â Brookline Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: BRKL) (the "Company") today announced net income of $11.7 million, or $0.17 per basic and diluted share, for the first quarter of 2015, compared to $10.9 million, or $0.16 per basic and diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2014.
During the first quarter of 2015, the Company sold $255.2 million, or over 90% of its indirect automobile loan portfolio, which resulted in a nominal loss.
