United Stationers Reports First Quarter 2015 Financial Results And Update On Repositioning Actions
April 22, 2015 4:15 PM EDTDEERFIELD, Ill., April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --Â United Stationers Inc. (NASDAQ: USTR), a leading supplier of workplace essentials, today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015.
Overview
Sales increased 6.2% to $1.33 billion when compared to the first quarter of last year driven by prior year acquisitions. Gross margin was $204.4 million, or 15.3 percent of sales, up from 14.9 percent in the prior year quarter.
