Northwest Bancshares, Inc. Announces First Quarter 2015 Earnings and Quarterly Dividend
April 20, 2015 9:20 AM EDTWARREN, Pa., April 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Bancshares, Inc. (NasdaqGS: NWBI) announced net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 of $16.2 million, or $0.18 per diluted share. This represents an increase of $1.6 million, or 10.7%, compared to the same quarter last year when net income was $14.6 million, or $0.16 per diluted share. The annualized returns on average shareholders' equity and average assets for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 were 6.17% and 0.83% compared to 5.15% and 0.75% for the same quarter last year.Â
