Trian Files Definitive proxy for DuPont (DD) Over Director Nominees; Sends Letter to Shareholders

I. du Pont de Nemours and Company (NYSE: DD), which currently beneficially owns approximately 24.6 million DuPont shares valued at approximately $1.8 billion, today filed a definitive proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the election of Nelson Peltz, John H. Myers, Arthur B. Winkleblack and Robert J. Zatta to DuPonts Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 13, 2015.

DuPont (DD) Announces Filing of Definitive Proxy Ahead of Annual Meeting
March 23, 2015 6:22 AM EDTDuPont (NYSE: DD) announced that it has filed definitive proxy materials with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with DuPont's Annual Meeting of Shareholders, which is scheduled to be held on May 13, 2015. DuPont shareholders of record as of the close of business on March 17, 2015 will be entitled to vote at the Annual Meeting.
